From May 28 to 30, 2018, experts in the field of smart IT solutions for in-house cooperation will come together at the European Collaboration Summit (ECS) in Mainz. At its mobile booth, software expert Hitachi Solution GmbH of Nuremberg offers fascinating showcases for visitors to familiarize themselves with new collaboration solutions. In their presentation, Pedro Marcos, Project Manager at Hitachi Solution, and Benjamin Hanke, Project Manager at the Berner Group, will discuss best practices with the out-of-the-box intranet.
Viewing and editing important documents even when you are not at the office, coordinating with colleagues across company sites, and receiving a comprehensive overview of key company news – the requirements regarding modern workplaces and their technical features are increasing steadily at the same speed at which software solutions are being developed that enable companies to fulfill these requirements. Hitachi Solution‘ Smart IT Truck includes an array of live demos that illustrate how the individual modules of the scalable software platform xReach make it easier to connect colleagues so they can collaborate across teams more effectively.

The showcase uses an electronic request for leave as an example to show how digital processes facilitate communication among team members. Hitachi Solution’ xReach.intranet is a turnkey, out-of-the-box solution based on Microsoft SharePoint that incorporates a powerful intranet which does not require lengthy implementation or complex configuration. Its functions and content, from cafeteria meal plans and a management blog to a calendar for company-wide events, can be combined flexibly to meet companies’ individual needs.
Hitachi Solution’ experts will show visitors how the xReach.collaboration module can be used to create virtual project rooms and adjust it to the corporate design with a few clicks. This way, teams can save files systematically, optimize their project management, and finalize through approval processes. xReach.collaboration is based on Microsoft SharePoint Online and Azure WebServices.
How are the xReach solutions actually implemented? Pedro Marcos, Project Manager at Hitachi Solution, and Benjamin Hanke, Project Manager at the Berner Group, will give a presentation titled Intranet out of the Box – Speedy Access to Digital Workplaces at the Berner Group. “We want to provide our audience with a genuine view of the course of the project implemented for the Berner Group. To do so, we will explain the advantages of a time-saving, budget-friendly, preconfigured solution and show the options available for cloud and on-premise applications,” says Marcos.
